Thai Protesters Taken to Police Station to have ‘Their Attitudes Adjusted’

Its a no-brainer. Junta doesn’t want to see any deviation to its policies, nor would tolerate any signs of dissent. I’ve seen this in my country, Malaysia, where the notorious colonial-era Sedition Act is used to silence objections.

Thailand’s reform is not just about removing a democracy, but also to instil the essence of obedience among the citizens. Refusal to conform to the authority, and you’ll be invited to spend some time with soldiers or policemen. The doctrine of the junta is that all views are irrelevant, unless it blends with the will of the establishment.
